Learn how to continue incorporating healthy foods to create interesting, vibrant winter meals during the Cooking with edibleWOW demonstration series at the Oakland County Farmers Market. The 2025 series will kick off from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11 with Chef Frank Turner from Citizen Provisions.
A collaboration with edibleWOW magazine, each cooking demonstration highlights a different chef, who brings his or her unique culinary experiences to the table. Chefs not only share delicious recipes, but also handy tips and tricks that home cooks can use when preparing meals for family and friends. Guests can also ask questions during these interactive sessions.
Following each cooking demonstration, guests can sample the prepared recipe while supplies last and enter a drawing for culinary items donated by Oakland County Farmers Market vendors.
In addition to Turner, the 2025 lineup includes:
- Jan. 25 - Erin Hamilton, founder and chief mycologist of The Mushroom Conservatory
- Feb. 8 - Regional Executive Chef Vincent Jones, StoryPoint Group
- Feb. 22 - Hospitality Expert Nina Love, The Love Experience
- March 8 - Chefs Jeremy Abbey and John Piazza, Detroit Institute of Gastronomy
- March 22 - Executive Chef Terence Tarver, The Inn at St. John's
