Erik Meier is the founder/CEO of the EAM Consulting Group and local president of Sandler Training, a sales and management training company with offices in Troy. He started his company in 2008 at age 26. In 2010, he added a Sandler Training franchise, becoming one of the youngest franchise owners. Meier is a sought after speaker on the topics of sales, management, leadership and negotiations. He has worked with hundreds of business owners, entrepreneurs and sales professionals to increase the profitability of their organizations.

He sits on the Board of Directors for the South Oakland YMCA as well as the Board of Directors for the Brother Rice Business Alliance. He is active in many local chambers of commerce. He is chairman of the Troy Chamber Ambassadors Committee and co-chair of the Troy Chamber Economic Development Committee. Meier is co-Founder of The Detroit Initiative, a young entrepreneur's professional and charitable organization.
